Aldrich President Jim Zebrowski at local events

Aldrich President Jim Zebrowski was recently providing education to local children at the Boys and Girls Club at Gardner High School Library by assisting the Mount Wachusett Community College Astronomy Club in their community service program.

Below are pictures from Jims meeting with Jennifer Latini’s troop 64813 of Brownies at the McKay Arts Academy Library in Fitchburg on Thursday April 11 2019. The young brownies learned about how craters formed on the Moon and other celestial bodies by dropping simulated asteroids onto a model of the Lunar surface made out of flour and mocha. We also talked about the 50th anniversary of the first Apollo landing on the Moon and after the indoor program was complete, we actually went outdoors to observe the Moon using the six inch Dobsonian telescope owned by Aldrich.
