Fun had by all at Aldrich Star Party at Club Observatory

This past Saturday June 12th we had a Star Party/Member meeting at the clubs Oakham Observatory. The weather was initially a little murky but once the sun went down the skies cleared nicely for observing. A large number of members brought their own gear and setup either on one of the concrete pads or on the fresh mowed lawn.

Everyone enjoyed the company of fellow members, had questions answered on how to work their own new telescope mounts, and basically just enjoyed the nights observing opportunities. Some people wrapped up later in the evening once the battle with the heavy humidity eventually was lost to dewed up optics.

Below are a number of pictures taken this past Saturday and on the previous Star Party event.

ENJOY!!!!!

Sorry I wasn’t able to attend.. Really was kinda iffy on the forecast..Glad to hear the skies cleared for imaging. Hopefully the next meeting I will be there. Seeing everyone enjoying the night is always up-lifting.
    Clear Skies, next time!
