A total eclipse of the Moon will occur on the night of May 15-16th of May. The Moon will enter the penumbra and you will start noticing s slight dimming of the moon at this time. The moon starts entering the umbra or the deeper shadow area shortly after that. By shortly before 11 PM 50% of the Moon will be in shadow. Totality will begin shortly before 11:30 PM and will end shortly before 1 AM.
This is a great opportunity for pictures so lets hope for clear weather.
