Star Party this past weekend brought members a big surprise

Around 14 members attended the Aldrich Star Party at the Observatory this past weekend. They were greeted by mostly clear skies and a big surprise that stumped everyone as to what they were seeing. That was the SpaceX Falcon 9 Booster B1073.4 returning from its launch of Starlink group 4-35 satellites. It created an amazing show with its rocket plume as shown in the picture above.

Members enjoyed the views of various targets looking through Fran’s 12.5″ Dobsonian.
