Ashburnham Library Patrons seeing Jupiter for first time in a telescope

Aldrich President Jim Zebrowski led an Astronomy program at the Stevens Memorial Library in Ashburnham on 10/12 supported by a grant from the Ashburnham Cultural Council. He began with a short talk about Ocean Worlds of the Solar System in front of the library. It was a tough night with a lot of scattered clouds but Jupiter poke out first and then everyone yelled at Jim about a bright star that turned out to be Saturn!
