Aldrich members Jim Zebrowski and Matt O’Malley attended the Leominster Library Program at Sholan Farms on Sept 6th. This event was sponsored by the Leominster Cultural Council. Everyone seems like they were having a good time.  A lot of kids had fun with launching rockets before it got dark enough to view Saturn, M13, M51 and other objects in the night sky. Overall – a very successful turnout with 62 people attending and four telescopes!  

We have to compliment the volunteer help that Matthew O’Malley’s two daughters offered throughout the program when we were setting up, launching rockets and packing things away!
