Aldrich members Jim Zebrowski, Kim Lemerise, and Jim St. Laurent hosted Cub Scout Pack 33 from Westminster, and Troop 33 from North Attleboro at the Aldrich Observatory in Oakham on Saturday 11/4. The kids with their parents and troop leaders were all enthusiastic even though the weather didn’t cooperate for telescope observing due to cloud cover. Aldrich members were able to facilitate rocket launches, have kids look through telescopes at the local landscape, and provided hands on STEM displays for them to play with. We also had tours of our state of the art Observatory facilities.
