On Wednesday July 29th almost 20 Aldrich members participated in the Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) “Space Camp” event for their employees. CFS was kind enough provide Aldrich with a very generous donation for our efforts in bringing gear and creating Astronomy programs specifically for this event. The event was attended by almost 1,200 CFS employees. Even though we had plans to stargaze through MANY Aldrich telescopes we had to punt at the last minute to a series of indoor programs instead because of heavy rain. Wachusett ski area lodge provided the venue and provided Aldrich and CFS with plenty of indoors space for programming.
A big thank you to all the Aldrich volunteers who helped with this event.
Below are some pictures from the event.
