Aldrich members Melanie Meadors and Steve Bodine attended the Worcester Color the City event on Friday Aug 7th and manned our booth. It was an incredibly hot day but thankfully our members had some shelter to hide from the sun. As you can see in the photo’s below the kids still seemed to have fun.

On Wednesday July 29th almost 20 Aldrich members participated in the Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) “Space Camp” event for their employees. CFS was kind enough provide Aldrich with a very generous donation for our efforts in bringing gear and creating Astronomy programs specifically for this event. The event was attended by almost 1,200 CFS employees.

Aldrich members Jim Zebrowski and Melanie Meadors manned the table at the Ecotarium Rocket Day event on Saturday 7/25. We had a lot of patrons visit our table and enjoy our Dwarflab Mini telescope demonstration, viewfinders, etc. Below are some pictures from the event.

Aldrich Outreach Director Melanie Meadors gave a talk on “Life in the Universe” at the Auburn Public Library on Thursday 7/23. About 12 kids came to hear the presentation about life on other worlds. On Friday evening July 17th NASA Solar System Ambassador M.J. Johnson gave a talk explaining the Artemis II mission and what it takes to send humans farther from Earth than we’ve ever traveled.
