This picture is a composite image of the White City bridge over Lake Quinsigamond, and the Milky Way as the sky. Even though this is a manufactured image it really combines two great shots into a magnificent composite. The photographer used image processing software to skillfully combine the two different photos. This is a common practice in Night-scape photography where you combine long exposure astrophotography pictures with well known objects in both nature and in city settings.
